In Memory Of. . . .          Tess
    6/1990 - 5/2004

This page is in loving  memory of our dogs that are
   no longer with us.
They each took a piece of our hearts when they left
and we think of them often. Tess, Decoy and Bailey,
we know you are running in some great field or
swimming to your heart's content. You are greatly
   missed.

"If it should be that I grow frail and weak
And pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then will you do what must be done,
For this, the last battle, can't be won.
You will be sad, I understand,
But don't let grief than stay your hand,
For on this day, more than the rest,
Your love and friendship must stand the test.

We have had so many happy years,
You wouldn't want me to suffer so.
When the time comes, please, let me go.
Take me to where my needs they'll tend,
Only, stay with me til the end,
And hold me firm and speak to me
Until my eyes no longer see.
I know in time you will agree
It is a kindness you do to me,

Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I have been saved.
Don't grieve that it must be you
     Who has to decide this thing to do;
We've been so close, we three, these years,
Don't let your heart hold any tears."

Our first, she taught us devotion and loyalty. She was a natural hunter and unequaled as a mother.
                     Decoy
   4/1996 - 5/2001
He was my soulmate.....the dog that taught me the most. His fierce loyalty and
his great sense of humor were something to behold. He was shameless in his naughtiness and the most charismatic dog
I've had the pleasure to know. He broke my heart.
       Bailey
  5/1992 - 5/2006
Daughter of Tess, she was spoiled by her from the get-go. Bailey lived for retrieving and was a born swimmer. She was an old
soul and the kindest of dogs.
